Tyler Gibb

Tyler S. Gibb, JD, PhD, is an Associate Professor, Clinical Ethicist, and founding co-Chair of the Department of Medical Ethics, Humanities, and Law at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. Trained in health law and bioethics at Saint Louis University and in clinical ethics at UCLA, he works at the intersection of law, medicine, and community justice. His research, teaching, and consultation focus on professional accountability, complex decision-making, and the ways systems fail patients and families.
